The name of Karachi comes under famous cities of not only Pakistan rather in the world. The city which never sleeps; the biggest city of Pakistan having an approximate of 2 Crore population. In order to provide educational services to the people Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Karachi is present. The history of Karachi board is deep and attached with the formulation of Pakistan. After the independence of Pakistan, Karachi was the capital of Pakistan and in the same year of independence, 1947 Karachi board was established as a distinct entity by the Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education amendment Act no. 20 of 1973. 5th result 2025 will be declared soon on Punjab Examination Commission official website.

The functions of the board comprise to organize, supervise, regulate, systematize and control education of intermediate level with Governor of Sindh as the ruling authority. The chairman of the board is considering as the executive and principal officer of the board, whereas secretary is responsible for the control of examinations. All the mentioned officers are appointed by the approval of controlling authority, whereas other officers are appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the appointment Committee.

There were just 17 officers and 113 officials in the fiscal year of 1947 but currently there are 51 officers and 246 officials who are providing their services. Since Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and possess significant importance in terms of industrialization and financial viewpoints, thereby every student should be consider as an asset and developed in a way that he or she can become the leading stars in the history of Pakistan. Education is the only way to overcome the challenges of the growing trends in the business marketplace. Now education should be a step ahead from theoretical perspective.

Technological improvisation should be included to foster creativity and innovation. Leadership skills should be taught to students and how to be creative at workplace and how to be a problem-solver, all these skills should be taught in schools, colleges and universities so that students can may get ready for confronting the huge challenges of the business world. The board is rendering optimum services and students are satisfied with the board performance.
