Karachi is a mega city people living there are increasing day by day many people are migrating there therefore it became necessary with all activities to have independent educational system there too. That board is named as board of intermediate and secondary education Karachi and abbreviated as BISE Karachi. This board was formed in the year 1950 by government and established under central legislative act No. XVI of 1950. This board was initially established in a single room office but then it was transferred to its new building constructed head office is located at Dilawar Figar Road, Block 5, Karachi.

Before this educational board was formed in Karachi there education was controlled by university of Sindh and when in 1950 it was formed first president was Mr Sultan Mohyuddin. Main objective and purpose of the board is to conduct examination for, 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and after that providing student with certificates. Jurisdiction of the board covers whole area of Karachi and there are many schools and colleges private or government are affiliated with the board. Examination at 5th class that is board examination are not necessary but some students appear there as practice.

Registration for Karachi board examination that is 11th class starts in the month of January and these forms are provided online and also posted to the affiliated colleges. Examination for intermediate part I that is 11th class are conducted in the month of April and May this year also same schedule was followed. After Registration students wait for roll number slips and date sheets those are made available in March. Many million students are waiting for results these results will be declared on the official website of the board on the pre announced date post probably in the month of September or October and we will also show this result on our website.
